A – Zen of Life. Dalai Lama
Posted by: | CommentsI came across this this on my cyberspace travels and thought I’d share it with you…
All credit to Dalai Lama.
LIVE ONE DAY AT A TIME – and make it a masterpiece.
Avoid negative sources, people, places and habits
Believe in yourself
Consider things from every angle
Don’t give up and don’t give in
Everything you’re looking for lies behind the mask you wear
Family and friends are hidden treasures, seek them and enjoy their riches
Give more than you planned to
Hang onto your dreams
If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door
Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it
Keep trying no matter how hard it seems
Love yourself
Make it happen
Never lie, steal or cheat
Open your arms to change, but don’t let go of your values
Practice makes perfect
Quality not quantity in anything you do
Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer
Stop procrastinating
Take control of your own destiny
Understand yourself in order to better understand others
Visualise it
When you lose, don’t lose the lesson
Xcellence in all your efforts
You are unique, nothing can replace you
Zero in on your target and go for it

Don’t have REGRETS!
Posted by: | CommentsSomeone just emailed me this quote, thought it was worth sharing…
“You’ll seldom experience regret for anything that you’ve done. It is what you haven’t done that will torment you. The message, therefore, is clear. Do it! Develop an appreciation for the present moment. Seize every second of your life and savor it. Value your present moments. Using them up in any self-defeating ways means you’ve lost them forever.”

Fire walking!
Posted by: | CommentsI remember going to a Tony Robbins seminar over 15 years ago and did his fire walking session ( – it’s a metaphor for overcoming fears and limiting beliefs.) What a wonderful experience that was! The Fire Walk was quite a feat in itself … For me … I discovered if I can walk on FIRE… what can stop me from doing or achieving anything my heart desires!?

Cartoon on SLIMMING and some motivational quotes!
Posted by: | CommentsA few years ago I worked with Diet and fitness guru Rosemary Conley on producing some motivational cartoons for her UK magazine. Here’s another one of the cartoons I drew up for her…

While working on the series of cartoons I jotted down a number of slimming quotes…
Your stomach shouldn’t be a waist basket. ~Author Unknown
A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit. ~Author Unknown
More die in the United States of too much food than of too little. ~John Kenneth Galbraith, The Affluent Society
In the Middle Ages, they had guillotines, stretch racks, whips and chains. Nowadays, we have a much more effective torture device called the bathroom scale. ~Stephen Phillips
I keep trying to lose weight… but it keeps finding me! ~Author Unknown
I never worry about diets. The only carrots that interest me are the number you get in a diamond. ~Mae West
The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight, because by then your body and your fat are really good friends. ~Author Unknown
Never eat more than you can lift. ~Miss Piggy
Cartoon Motivator – Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Posted by: | CommentsThere I was the other night sat in my armchair with
one eye on my laptop surfing the net for motivational
quotes and the other eye on the TV watching ‘Who Wants
To Be a Millionaire’ – using up a couple of life lines on
the £100 question.(I blame the lack of concentration!)
When I came across a quote from Denis Waitley
which then sparked the attached cartoon idea…

Over $5,000,000!!! Not just $30,000!
