Introducing Sid Gatt – cartoon character
Posted by: | CommentsToday I’m introducing you to Sid Gatt( – he really is a sad git!) He’s a ‘loser’ through and through. He will be illustrating negative thoughts in future cartoons. You must avoid what he thinks and does – we don’t want you being a sad git. Watch out for him in future cartoons.

Introducing Sid Gatt - he really is a SAD GIT!
Biggest Loser – LOU ZERR cartoon character!

I’m negative, inadequate and definitely a loser as my name suggests. If someone says I’m useless I will be. My waking hours are filled with problems and so are my dreams. I think defeat at every opportunity. My life is sad and lifeless. I’m only happy when I’ve lost. How bright is my future? A dark grey I’d say. A very dark shade of grey – nearly black. Ok totally black.
The DEMON of DOUBT!
Posted by: | CommentsThe Demon of Doubt – he plagues us all. You’ve got to ZAP him as soon as he enters your mind.

The Demon of Doubt
Here’s a few ‘doubt’ quotes to chew on…
“Any belief worth having must survive doubt” (Sorry forgot where I got this from!)
“Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt” – William Shakespeare
“When you doubt your power, you give power to your doubt” (And this one!)
“What makes a river so restful to people is that it doesn’t have any doubt – it is sure to get where it is going, and it doesn’t want to go anywhere else.” – Hal Boyle
“11 Reasons Why You Will Never Succeed” By Gary Vurnum PART 10
Posted by: | CommentsREASON # 10 – You worry what your family and
friends would think about you if you read or listened
to self-development material.

I'm going to be one...a SUCCESS!
I was always embarrassed about reading self-development
books on the train into work.
That was until I realised who was still going to be on the
same train in five years time, and I knew it wasn’t going to
be me!
I still get raised eyebrows from my family, but I will be
the one who is smiling when I achieve what I know that I can
achieve. Only this evening…my sister laughed out loud when
I told her that my eBook was called “The Science of Success”
But…at least I am doing what I want to do.
I take my personal development seriously.
Others may ridicule you…or laugh behind your back…but
they will be the jealous ones when you reach your dream…
and they are still stuck in never-never land!
So the moral of the story is…
Do what you want to do with your life…and not what others
say you should do.

Posted by: | CommentsREASON # 3 – You’d rather watch television that work
on your personal development.
Once you have used time, you cannot get it back. Isn’t it
more important to use it for your development than for
watching the TV?
One of my top 3 all-time quotes comes from my mentor -
Jim Rohn. He says:
“Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money,
but you cannot get more time”
I used to spend all weekend reading the thick broadsheet
newspapers – it used to take that long! I realised that I
was wasting days, even weeks, every year reading about
things that had already happened!
What good will that do for my future?
So now…I’m more selective in what I do…and what I read.
I get as much information from quickly glancing through a
newspaper as I did from reading it from cover to cover. I
only watch the TV programmes I really want to watch…and
not just anything that happens to be on.
Use your time wisely.
Did you know that if you got into the office one hour
earlier every working day…you would be producing almost
7 WORKING WEEKS more work in a 48-week year! (See I even
gave you time off for your vacation.)
I got up an extra hour earlier every day so that I could
spend quality time writing my eBook – “The Science of Success”
Once I had got used to it…I didn’t really notice any
difference!
Imagine the impact 2 hours less TV every night could have
on your life and your future. Makes you think, doesn’t it?
I'm being NEGATIVE….helllllp!
Posted by: | CommentsIt’s just dawned on me this morning that I’m being totally negative! I’ve had sore knees for some months now – I don’t know if this is just wear and tear after all these years of playing football/soccer and squash.(I’m 55 in July and I’m trying to keep active as long as possible!)
I’ve only just realized that when I play a game I’m moaning about my injuries and telling friends I’m ‘on my way out’ ‘hanging my boots up’ etc. What am I doing? I’m being so negative! Last year I said I was taking up golf so as not to put any more strain on my knees and forget the footy and squash. And although I really got into the game I have drifted back to my favourite sports. But the reason for recent bad games/results is down to my negative thinking. I’m slipping down the squash leagues, players you I had previously thrashed are now beating me. I’m feeling really sorry for myself and looking for attention. Well, from today I’m stopping this decline! I’ll keep you informed.
In the meantime here’s a cartoon I drew some time ago that helps illustrate the above….

Believe You Can and you can!
I read this from Joe Vitale’s ezine this morning and it stopped me dead in my tracks and force me to pull myself together…
If you want to attract money, for example, see
yourself already wealthy, feel the joy of helping
yourself and others with the money, and repeat
this in your mind as much as its fun to do so.
By doing this you will “brand” your mind with the
new you. Once it takes hold (which can be very
fast), and you act on your ideas, you will begin
to attract money.
The lesson here is this: to change yourself you
need to use imagery, emotion, and repetition. Do
all three and virtually anything is possible.
