Here is a quote I recently came across by Og Mandino which I really liked – so I thought, hey let’s do a cartoon video to it!:

I will act now. I will act now. I will act now. Henceforth, I will repeat these words each hour, each day, everyday, until the words become as much a habit as my breathing, and the action which follows becomes as instinctive as the blinking of my eyelids. With these words I can condition my mind to perform every action necessary for my success. I will act now. I will repeat these words again and again and again. I will walk where failures fear to walk. I will work when failures seek rest. I will act now for now is all I have. Tomorrow is the day reserved for the labor of the lazy. I am not lazy. Tomorrow is the day when the failure will succeed. I am not a failure. I will act now. Success will not wait. If I delay, success will become wed to another and lost to me forever. This is the time. This is the place. I am the person.

Wrestle With A Problem!

Posted by: cartooninggenius | Comments (0)

I was wrestling with a problem back in 1999 – when I first created my motivational cartoons I couldn’t make my mind up as what yo call them. I drew up about 20 under the label ‘Manic Motivators’. I wasn’t sure about the name so eventually I shelved it.

Let me know what you think – maybe I’ll resurrect it!? What to you reckon to the graphic at the top?

Focus On The POSSIBLE!

Posted by: cartooninggenius | Comments (0)

Here’s a quick sketch from my notebook, I scribbled it out last night just before going to sleep.(I always have my notepad on my bedside cabinet for when I get flashes of inspiration.)

cartoon of guy running towards the word 'POSSIBLE'. Another guy shivering/scared at the word IMPOSSIBLE.“Anything is possible. You can be told that you have a 90-percent chance or a 50-percent chance or a 1-percent chance, but you have to believe, and you have to fight.”

“If you worried about falling off the bike, you’d never get on.

“To all the cynics, I’m sorry for you, … I’m sorry you can’t believe in miracles. This is a great sporting event and hard work wins it.

All Lance Armstrong quotes.

There I was the other night sat in my armchair with
one eye on my laptop surfing the net for motivational
quotes and the other eye on the TV watching ‘Who Wants
To Be a Millionaire’ – using up a couple of life lines on
the £100 question.(I blame the lack of concentration!)
When I came across a quote from Denis Waitley
which then sparked the attached cartoon idea…
